This Offering Altar was created for the central HUB area of Revenant: Through the Veil. It serves as a display for the Book of the Dead, one of the most important narrative objects in the game.
To complete the scene, I also designed and modeled surrounding pillars inspired by the Great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak Temple, along with other real-life Ancient Egyptian artifacts to maintain historical accuracy and visual authenticity.
The assets were initially modeled in Autodesk Maya, then brought into ZBrush for high-detail sculpting and texture work. After sculpting, meshes were decimated and UVs were cut back in Maya before moving into Substance Painter for final texturing. The completed assets were then integrated into Unreal Engine for in-game use.
